Albany CDFI Honored as 2020 "Changemaker"

The Albany Business Review’s Achievers Awards for 2020 honor the outstanding businesses and business leaders who have been Changemakers in the Capital Region.

Honorees were selected from nominations reviewed by the Albany Business Review newsroom. The 2020 honorees include The Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region. The fund's executive director, Linda MacFarlane, is the Chair of the Board of the NYS CDFI Coalition.

According to the Business Review, "The Community Loan Fund has been a critical bridge for many small businesses struggling to survive the pandemic. Most recently, the organization started offering a new grant program of loans up to $20,000 to help businesses with less than $1 million in annual revenue keep their employees."
